Site Visit

Site Visits are a consultation conducted on your property.  During the site visit we will discuss as many of your trees and shrubs as you would like.  A typical visit lasts about 45 minutes.  I will assess your trees for both a health status and a condition status.  Then we will discuss your options. Tree Fertilization

Trees in the forest find nutrients in the soil to maintain good health and a reasonable rate of growth. Forest soils are fertilized by a process called nutrient recycling where leaves fall and decay, dead trees fall and decay, animals live, beneficial bacteria colonize and a myriad of complex biological interactions occur.  Man likes to grow trees in the most inhospitable places, our lawns.  Here the natural processes are greatly inhibited and trees will suffer as a result.  Fertilization is the addition of required elements necessary for plants to thrive.

Organic Soil Stimulants

Over time, soils in the urban environment become depleted of organic debris and can often also become compacted.  Organic debris is a critical fuel to the microbes that aid the tree in maintaining good health.  Bio-root stimulants, as they are sometimes called, are added to the soil in a water suspension.  These stimulants are mixtures of organic compounds and beneficial bacteria.

Disease Control

Diseases are just as common in the plant world as they are in the animal.  Most of the time there is no need to treat your trees, however, things can get out of hand in a hurry.  The treatments are as varied as the diseases themselves.  If I find a treatable disease during a site visit and it can be treated on that visit I will discount the treatment by the cost of the site visit.

Pest Control

Pests can be just about anything you don’t like.  Though I cannot treat for husbands or mother-n-laws I can treat for just about every insect and mite your trees might have.  Most of the time there is no need to treat your trees, however, things can get out of hand in a hurry.  The treatment methods and pesticides are as varied as the pests themselves.  If I find a treatable pest during a site visit and it can be treated on that visit I will discount the treatment by the cost of the site visit.

Specimen Tree Survey

Tree surveys are often required by municipalities during construction. I will inventory all your trees as required by whatever tree ordinance you are working with.  Surveys are basically an inventory of trees that meet certain size requirements.
